GENERAL INFORMATION

Pennsylvania implements a statewide parent choice system for delivery of Subsidized Child Day Care service.  Families can access information about available care, cost of care, locations of providers, and how to choose the right provider for their particular needs and those of their family through the Child Care Information Services of Schuylkill County's Resource & Referral Program.  The Resource & Referral Program, through the agency,  provides consumer education, referral services, determines eligibility, and will enter into agreements with the provider of your choice.  These information and referral services are available, free of charge, to all persons requesting them.  Child Care Information Services of Schuylkill County also administers the Subsidized Child Day Care Program, helping residents of Schuylkill County who qualify, to pay for the costs of their child care.
